Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans (27-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Wildcats come into the 2A Region I District 8 challenge with a 14-11 record. In their last challenge, Archer City beat Olney (Olney, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Petrolia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record.
