Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers (Everett, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Salem Academy Charter Navigator (Salem, MA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mystic Valley Regional (Malden, MA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Mystic Valley Regional lost by Pioneer Charter School of Science II (Saugus, MA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Navigator play the KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers (Lynn, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Salem Academy Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Nashoba Valley Tech (Westford, MA).
