California High School Volleyball - Williams can't hold off Portola

In Tuesday's league bout, the Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) volleyball team held off the host Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA), by a margin of 3-2.
The Tigers now possess a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Biggs for a Mid-Valley bout on Thursday, October 16. Portola will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-12.
With the loss, Williams drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Quincy (Quincy, CA) to battle the Trojans in a Mid-Valley match on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 26-4. Quincy won 3-0 in their recent league match against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA)
