With the win, West Mesquite improves its record to 6-19 on the season. The Wranglers host Seagoville (Dallas, TX) to encounter the Dragons in a 5A Region II District 14 test on Friday, October 17. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 12-15. Seagoville lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Adams (Dallas, TX)

The Timberwolves now own a 2-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilson for a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, October 17. Spruce will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 23-8.
