St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Falcons (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Tigers come into the Division IV District 7 challenge with a 16-4 record. In their last challenge, Doyle beat Amite (Amite, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Hawks face the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, October 15. St. Helena College and Career Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Sharks go into the test with a 3-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA).
