Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) and the visiting Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), observed Stoneham's volleyball team top Wilmington by a tally of 3-0.

The Spartans (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Belmont (Belmont, MA). The Marauders enter the Middlesex contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Belmont was beaten by Reading Memorial (Reading, MA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Belmont (Belmont, MA).
