Texas High School Volleyball - Sweeny over Wharton

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Sweeny Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Wharton Tigers.

The Bulldogs (28-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Roughnecks go into the 4A Region IV District 29 test with a 12-21 record. In their last test, Columbia went down by El Campo (El Campo, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now sport a 0-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Campo for a 4A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, October 17. Wharton will play a Ricebirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Ricebirds record now stands at 23-11.
