The Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) football routed the visiting Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR), 41-6 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Friday, October 21. Cross County will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 34-22 league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, AR).
The Trojans (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Warriors enter the 2A Region 2 bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, East Poinsett County was crushed by Earle (Earle, AR), 32-26, in a league bout.
