Next up, the Matadors battle the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 18. Sandia will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).

With the loss, Piedra Vista moves to 3-3 on the year. The Panthers host Farmington (Farmington, NM) to battle the Scorpions in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 18. The Scorpions go into the contest with a record of 11-16. Farmington won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Aztec (Aztec, NM)
