Next, the Indians confront the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a 3A North - East challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Elko will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV).

The Vaqueros now have a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Truckee for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 17. Fernley will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 league win over Hug (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-4.
