The crowd at Saturday's league test between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), saw North Tahoe's soccer squad overwhelm Pershing County by a margin of 15-0.
The Lakers now sport a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sage Ridge for a 2A North test on Wednesday, October 19. North Tahoe will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 3-1 league win over White Pine (Ely, NV). The Scorpions record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Pershing County drops to 4-10 on the season. The Mustangs host West Wendover (West Wendover, NV) to meet the Wolverines in a 2A North test on Saturday, October 22. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 0-13.
