In Saturday's league battle, the host Spring Creek Spartans soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Dayton Dust Devils.
The Spartans (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians go into the 3A North - East battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Elko nipped Fernley (Fernley, NV), 4-0, in a league battle.
