Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Ponies confront the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) in a Class B - North challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME).

The Trojans now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ellsworth for a Class B - North challenge on Tuesday, October 18. Mount Desert Island will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-2 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 10-3.
