Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 3-1 in a league test.

The Patriots now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Poland for a Class B - South test on Tuesday, October 18. Gray-New Gloucester will meet a Knights squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Knights record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Lake Region drops to 4-10 on the season. The Lakers travel to Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to meet the Raiders in a Class B - South test on Tuesday, October 18. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 10-5. Fryeburg won 4-0 in their recent league test against Wells (Wells, ME)
