In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Demons (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Capital was overwhelmed by Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Monarchs (0-18) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque thwarted Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 1-0, in a league battle.
