Nevada High School Volleyball - Sunrise Mountain Chaparral

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Chaparral Cowboys volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sunrise Mountain Miners.

The Cowboys (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Warriors come into the 4A Desert battle with a 0-12 record.

Next, the Miners clash with the Somerset Academy Losee Lions (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 3A South - Desert battle, on Monday, October 17. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to advance on its 3-17 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Moapa Valley (Overton, NV).
