The Cimarron Rams volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Wagon Mound Trojans to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mora (Mora, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes come into the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Mora went down by Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, October 20. Wagon Mound will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Springer (Springer, NM).
