The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI) and the host Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI), saw Turner's volleyball squad beat Clinton by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Turner upgrades its record to 9-15 on the year. The Trojans travel to Evansville (Evansville, WI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 18-13. Evansville won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Whitewater (Whitewater, WI)
The Cougars now own a 0-26 record. They play next when they travel to McFarland for a Rock Valley bout on Tuesday, October 18. Clinton will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Brodhead (Brodhead, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 30-5.
