South Dakota High School Volleyball - Freeman Academy/Marion Wessington Springs

The Freeman Academy/Marion volleyball team (Freeman, SD), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD)

The Spartans (21-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Bridgewater/Emery went down by Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the encounter the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) in a B Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Freeman Academy/Marion will attempt to move on its 1-20 season record. The Cubs enter the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 3-2 league loss to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
