South Carolina High School Volleyball - Porter-Gaud over Hilton Head Island

Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cyclones clash with the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region III match, on Tuesday, October 18. Porter-Gaud will attempt to advance on its 16-25 season record. The Hurricanes come into the match with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC).

With the loss, Hilton Head Island drops to 18-16 on the campaign. The Seahawks host James Island (Charleston, SC) to clash with the Trojans in a AAAA Region 7 match on Monday, October 17. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 25-9. James Island won 3-0 in their recent league match against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC)
