The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) and the host Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX), saw Klondike's volleyball squad beat Wellman-Union by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Klondike upgrades its record to 28-12 on the year. The Cougars travel to Loop (Loop, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 1A Region I District 2 bout on Saturday, October 22. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

The Wildcats now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Loop for a 1A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, October 18. Wellman-Union will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-7.
