The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) and the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), saw Westmont's volleyball squad beat Lisle by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Westmont upgrades its record to 15-17 on the year. The Sentinels travel to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Metro Suburban Red bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-18. Riverside-Brookfield won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)
The Lions now own a 2-23 record. They play next when they travel to Coal City for a Illinois Central Eight bout on Tuesday, October 18. Lisle will play a Coalers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 20-7.
