The Marion Wildcats topped the host Mt. Vernon Rams volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centralia for a South Seven test on Saturday, October 15. Marion will confront a Orphans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Orphans record now stands at 19-9.

The Rams (4-25) will now prepare for their test against Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Terriers enter the non-league test with a 16-13 record. In their last test, Carbondale gained a win over Marion (Marion, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
