South Dakota High School Volleyball - Menno Viborg/Hurley

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Viborg/Hurley Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Menno Wolves.

The Cougars (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers come into the B Region 5 battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Freeman lost by Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wolves clash with the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 21. Menno will attempt to advance on its 5-18 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 7-16 record after their 3-2 league loss to Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD).
