Kansas High School Volleyball - Norton can't hold off Smith Center

In Saturday's league battle, the host Smith Center Redmen volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Norton Bluejays.

The Redmen (33-4) will now prepare for their battle against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 26-6 record. In their last battle, Phillipsburg nudged Hill City (Hill City, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bluejays clash with the Hoxie Indians (Hoxie, KS) in a Mid-Continent battle, on Saturday, October 15. Norton will attempt to advance on its 20-14 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 25-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS).
