The St. James Academy Thunder volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds to 0 in the Thunder non-league victory on Saturday.

The Thunder now have a 31-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Hill for a non-league game on Saturday, October 15. St. James Academy will meet a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Paola (Paola, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 20-9.

The Thunderbirds (20-13) will now prepare for their game against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS). The Ravens enter the non-league game with a 22-6 record. In their last outing, Olathe Northwest notched a victory over Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
