The Bulldogs (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets enter the Southeastern contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Deep Creek was tipped by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern contest, on Thursday, October 17. Nansemond River will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bruins enter the contest with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
