Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Medomak Valley moves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Morse (Bath, ME) to meet the Shipbuilders in a non-league test on Friday, October 18. The Shipbuilders come into the test with a record of 5-6. Morse lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME)

The Lions now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nokomis for a Class B - North test on Friday, October 18. Belfast will meet a Warriors team coming off a 0-0 non-league Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 0-9.
