The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 10-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Sartans now hold a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valencia for a 4A District 5 challenge on Thursday, October 17. St. Pius X will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, Grants moves to 3-11 on the year. The Pirates host Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Hornets in a 4A District 5 challenge on Thursday, October 17. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Highland lost 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
