Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) and the visiting South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), saw Truckee's soccer squad hold off South Tahoe by a count of 1-0.

The Wolverines (18-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers enter the 3A Northern - West battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, North Valleys tipped Wooster (Reno, NV), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Wooster Colts (Reno, NV) in a 3A Northern - West battle, on Thursday, October 17. South Tahoe will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 8-0 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
