In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Piedmont Highlanders.

The Yellowjackets (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons enter the challenge with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Jets enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA).
