The Indians (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Westmoreland beat Lancaster (Lancaster, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Essex will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Drifters enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA).
