In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Madison County Mountaineers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Stonewall Jackson Generals.
The Mountaineers (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Clarke County beat Strasburg (Strasburg, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Generals meet the Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Stonewall Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA).
