Bishop McGuinness will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Triad Math and Science Academy moves to 4-7 on the year. The Bengals travel to Bethany (Summerfield, NC) to encounter the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Thursday, October 17. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Bethany lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC)
