The Dixon Bulldogs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Richlands Wildcats to 2 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to White Oak for a Coastal 3A bout on Thursday, October 17. Dixon will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Richlands moves to 10-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a Coastal 3A bout on Thursday, October 17. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-8. West Carteret lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Croatan (Newport, NC)
