Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Hoggard advances its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to clash with the Pirates in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 17. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 13-5. Topsail won 3-2 in their recent league test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)

The Scorpions now have a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 17. North Brunswick will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-11.
