In Tuesday's non-league test, the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) softball squad got by the visiting Eugene Eagles (Eugene, MO), by a count of 12-11.
Next, the Tigers meet the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 17. Smith-Cotton will attempt to upgrade on its 17-13 season record. The Bruins go into the test with a 27-6 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Kickapoo (Springfield, MO).
The Eagles (16-15) will now prepare for their test against Russellville (Russellville, MO). The Indians go into the Class 2 District 10 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Russellville held off Dixon (Dixon, MO), 27-8, in a non-league test.
