The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs enter the District 54 contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Hazard was beaten by Floyd Central (Eastern, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars (Whitesburg, KY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Breathitt County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Cougars / Lady Cougars enter the contest with a 17-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pikeville (Pikeville, KY).
