In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Colman-Egan C-E Hawks volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies.

The C-E Hawks (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Rutland enter the B Region 2 challenge with a 5-17 record. In their last challenge, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland was tipped by Freeman (Freeman, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Bridgewater/Emery will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 27-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD).
