With the win, Lakeview improves its record to 8-8 on the season. The Honkers host Rogue River (Rogue River, OR) to face the Chieftains in a 3A Southern Oregon test on Thursday, October 17. The Chieftains go into the test with a record of 1-13. Rogue River lost 3-0 in their recent league test against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR)

The Bruins now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cascade Christian for a 3A Southern Oregon test on Thursday, October 17. Brookings-Harbor will face a Challengers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 10-6.
