In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Byron Center Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mona Shores Sailors.
The Bulldogs (22-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Muskegon (Muskegon, MI). The Big Reds come into the non-league challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Muskegon was nudged by Jenison (Jenison, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Sailors meet the Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Green challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Mona Shores will attempt to upgrade on its 22-6 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 10-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MI).
