Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Hondo Valley improves its record to 6-10 on the season. The Eagles host Reserve (Reserve, NM) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Mountaineers go into the test with a record of 11-3. Reserve won 3-1 in their recent league test against Animas (Animas, NM)

The Grizzlies now own a 0-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamo Navajo for a 1A District 3 test on Wednesday, October 16. Carrizozo will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 7-9.
