Michigan High School Volleyball - Newaygo over Chippewa Hills

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) and the visiting Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI), observed Newaygo's volleyball team top Chippewa Hills by a count of 3-0.

The Lions (20-23) will now prepare for their contest against Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Coyotes enter the Central State contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Reed City notched a victory over Tri County Area (Howard City, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) in a Central State contest, on Saturday, October 19. Chippewa Hills will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 5-20 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grant (Grant, MI).
