In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host West Milford Highlanders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Clifton Mustangs.

The Highlanders (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Lacordaire Academy Lions (Upper Montclair, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Clifton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pioneer Academy (Wayne, NJ).
