Colorado High School Volleyball - Discovery Canyon can't get by Lutheran

The Lutheran Lions edged the host Discovery Canyon Thunder volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak game, on Friday, October 18. Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the game with a 10-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO).

The Thunder (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears go into the 4A Pikes Peak game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Palmer Ridge was edged by Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO), 3-0, in a league game.
