The Ellison Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Waco Lions to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 16-22 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Belton for a 5A Region II District 16 outing on Friday, October 18. Ellison will play a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Belton (Belton, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 28-10.

With the loss, Waco drops to 3-23 on the campaign. The Lions host Chaparral (Killeen, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Region II District 16 outing on Friday, October 18. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 19-12. Chaparral won 3-0 in their recent league outing against University (Waco, TX)
