The Fisher Gators volleyball squad (Lafitte, LA), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA)

With the win, South Plaquemines improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Hurricanes host Lutheran (Metairie, LA) to encounter the Gryphons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 30. The Gryphons go into the match with a record of 1-12.

The Gators (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Ecole Classique (Metairie, LA). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Ecole Classique was outscored by Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA), 3-0, in a league match.
