Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Frankenmuth Eagles (Frankenmuth, MI), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Freeland improves its record to 25-10 on the season. The Falcons travel to Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 26-11.
The Eagles now own a 20-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridgeport for a Tri-Valley - East test on Wednesday, October 23. Frankenmuth will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Garber (Essexville, MI). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-6.
