In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Radford Bobcats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Glenvar Highlanders.

The Bobcats (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the Three Rivers challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, James River got by Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Glenvar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
