In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Klamath Union Pelicans volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Phoenix Pirates.
The Pelicans (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR). The Vikings enter the 4A Skyline challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Mazama was beaten by Henley (Klamath Falls, OR), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) in a 4A Skyline challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Phoenix will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Henley (Klamath Falls, OR).
